inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Instagram celebrity Karin Novilda, also known as Awkarin, has responded to a summons from investigators at the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police regarding the Umrah travel fraud case involving Hanania Travel. Awkarin was questioned as a witness.

"Awkarin was summoned and scheduled by the person concerned for several summonses. It was previously rescheduled to today," explained the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto, on Monday (6/29/2026).

According to him, Awkarin arrived at the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police HQ at 4:30 p.m. 

"She may undergo several questions from investigators. We will update you later on any questions and how long this questioning process will last," he said.

The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police have named Hanania Travel's boss, Ahmad Syah Farhan, also known as ASF, a suspect. 

He was charged with alleged fraud and/or embezzlement and/or money laundering as referred to in Article 492 of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code and/or Article 486 and/or Article 607 of the Criminal Code.
