inp.polri.go.id-  Jakarta. The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police has appealed to motorcycle and car drivers to prioritize safety while driving. This appeal follows the incident of two drivers tailgating each other, leading to an altercation on the Pelabuhan Toll Road towards Tanjung Priok.

"We continue to urge drivers to maintain safety while driving and obey traffic signs," said a Traffic Patrol Officer from the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police Traffic Directorate, Monday (April 6, 2026).

His team is still investigating to identify the vehicles and drivers involved. "This incident is still under police investigation," he said. 

When asked whether the two drivers have reconciled, he could not confirm this, as they both immediately left the scene after the incident.

"We don't know if they have reconciled. This is still under investigation," he said. 

Previously, a viral video on social media showed two car drivers involved in an altercation on the Pelabuhan Toll Road. The two vehicles collided, blocking part of the roadway.
