Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Saturday (11/4/2026) that three Indonesian crew members from the MV Gold Autumn are safe and scheduled to arrive in Jakarta on Sunday following a maritime explosion in the Arabian Sea.

"Our representatives have secured flight tickets for the three citizens, and they are expected to return home on Sunday," said Heni Hamidah, the Acting Director for the Protection of Indonesian Citizens at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as cited by antaranews.com.

The sailors were among 22 international crew members forced to abandon the Panama-flagged vessel after a devastating blast occurred 200 nautical miles off the Pakistani coast last Tuesday.

The survivors were rescued from the water by a passing merchant ship before being transferred to the Pakistani Navy for medical evaluation in Karachi. While investigations into the source of the explosion continue, Indonesian authorities are coordinating with the vessel’s Chinese operators to ensure all administrative and repatriation requirements are met.
