Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian National Police (INP) Deputy Chief Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo received "The Visionary Leader of National Security" award from the Faculty of Law at Sultan Agung Islamic University (Unissula) on Wednesday (8/7/2026).
The academic award was presented directly by Unissula Rector Professor Gunarto during an audience at the INP Headquarters in Jakarta.
"We award this honor because he has successfully introduced a new paradigm in building the National Police," Unissula Rector Professor Gunarto said. "Reforming police education, developing scientific policing, and forming the Police Studies Center network show that national security must be built upon science and innovation."
The university granted the honor to recognize Chief Dedif's vision in accelerating police transformation, which includes upgrading police education, expanding scientific policing, and establishing research networks with 77 universities across Indonesia.
The Rector also invited the deputy chief to serve as the keynote speaker at an international seminar on transnational crime and human rights protection on 30 July 2026.
