inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Traffic Corps of the Indonesian National Police (INP) received an award from the Minister of Transportation, Dudy Purwagandhi, as a token of appreciation for their dedication and contribution to the success of the 2026 Eid al-Fitr Transportation Program.
The award was presented through a certificate of appreciation presented directly by the Minister of Transportation to INP Traffic Corps Chief at the Madellu Hall, INP Traffic Corps NTMC Building, on Friday (6/26/2026).
This appreciation recognizes the hard work and dedication of all police personnel in maintaining smooth, safe, and orderly traffic flow during the Eid homecoming and return travel period.
The Chief of INP Traffic Corps, Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the awards.
According to him, the award serves as a form of attention and motivation for all personnel who have worked tirelessly during Operation Ketupat 2026.
"This is certainly a tremendous gesture and honor to us as Minister Dudy not only came to our HQ, but also showed respect and appreciation to all of us," said Chief Agus in his remarks.
He stated that the success of Operation Ketupat 2026 could not be achieved by one institution alone, but through strong cooperation in guaranteeing security, safety, order, and smooth traffic flow for the public.
"The success of Operation Ketupat is not the responsibility of just one institution; all institutions have a role to play. The state must be present to ensure a safe, secure, orderly, and smooth traffic situation," he said.
On the occasion, Agus also noted that collaboration between INP and the Ministry of Transportation will continue to be improved, not only in the implementation of Operation Ketupat and Operation Lilin, but also in the five major traffic operation agendas.
