Inp.polri.go.id - Jambi. The Jambi Regional Police Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation distributed 10 tons of clean water and 100 staple food packages to residents in Kenali Asam Atas, Jambi, on Friday (11/9/2026). 

Held at the local sub-district office, the social aid program aimed to alleviate public hardship caused by a prolonged dry season and regional haze.

"This assistance is a tangible form of our care for communities in need during this extended drought," said Jambi Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent. Erlan Munaji.

Led by Deputy Director of Special Crimes  Superintendent Agung Basuki, the distribution provided essential food items including rice, sugar, flour, and cooking oil. 

Local official Budi Prasetiyono thanked for the initiative, noting that the water supply helps residents in areas experiencing disrupted water utility services.
