Inp.polri.go.id - Jambi. The Jambi Regional Police Special Criminal Investigation Directorate distributed 10 tons of clean water and hundreds of staple food packages to residents in Kenali Asam Atas, Jambi, on Friday (11/9/2026). 

The social relief initiative addressed clean water shortages and economic hardships caused by the prolonged dry season and widespread haze.

"We prepared 10 tons of clean water today and will add more if needed, alongside hundreds of food packages," said Jambi Police Deputy Director of Special Crimes Senior Superintendent Agung Basuki.

Funded by officers contributions, the aid distribution was attended by local police officials, community leaders, and affected residents. Kenali Asam Atas Sub-district Chief Budi Prasetiyono and local residents thanked the assistance, noting that the clean water supply significantly eases the daily burden on households facing dry wells.
