Jambi Regional Police Thwarted Drug Flow Worth of IDR 19 Billion

Inp.polri.go.id – Jambi. Jambi Regional Police Drug Criminal Investigation has thwarted the meth and ecstasy pills flow, worth IDR 19,260,378,568. The uncovering is considered as an achievement as the case uncovering was only for the first week of March 2024. The Director of the Drug Criminal Investigation Directorate, Superintendent Ernesto Seiser says that of the cases uncovered, his party has confiscated 12.9 kilograms of meth. “Then, there are also inex drugs of 10,032 pils and 5,268 grams of weed,” said Ernesto on Sunday (3/24/2024). Of the two cases disclosed by the police, five suspects were arrested. From the five suspects, one suspect received firm, measurable action for resisting the arrest in South Tapanuli. Police then reveal the suspects which are C and his partner RM (22) from Asahan, North Sumatra, and TB (5) from Rokan Hilir, Riau. From the three suspects, police confiscated 10 kilograms of meth contained in two luggages. Not long after, police reveal another drug criminal action of smuggling 2.9 kilograms of meth. This case disclosure has arrested two suspects with the initials of MS (48) and HN (44). Other than meth, police also secured 10,032 pills of inex drugs and 5,268 grams of weed. With the huge achievement achieved by the unit, Jambi Regional Police pledges to continue their drug eradication effort in the province. “We are committed to eradicate drug flows in Jambi and we will continue to monitor its movement,” concluded Ernesto.
