Inp.polri.go.id - Anambas Island. Military and police officers demonstrated humanitarian synergy by assisting a sick resident aboard a passenger vessel at Tarempa Port, Anambas Islands Regency, Riau Islands, on Saturday (12/9/2026). 

Officers from the Tarempa Naval Base and the Anambas Islands Police Water and Air Unit collaborated with local residents to support the ill resident onto the ship safely.

"When the public needs assistance, we must be present," said Anambas Islands Police Chief Superintendent I Gusti Ngurah Agung Budianaloka. "Simple acts of help to the community are also a form of dedication."

He said that joint synergy with the military and local community remains essential for public service delivery across remote island regions with unique transport challenges. 

The collaborative assistance ensured the sick resident boarded without incident for subsequent travel.
