Keyabi Market, a hub of economic activity in Nduga Regency, was bustling with women selling local produce, from vegetables and tubers to various other food commodities. The presence of the policewomen amidst the bustling activity was warmly welcomed by both vendors and market visitors.
Led by Second Police Inspector Deni Alpianda, the visit was to strengthen the relationship between the authority and public through casual conversation and interaction.
The presence of personnel not only provides a sense of security but also brings encouragement to people who depend on the market for their daily livelihoods.
Through this activity, the Task Force also aims to demonstrate to the wider community that Keyabi Market is a safe area for activities. People can continue to conduct economic activities, sell goods, and interact as usual.
The Head of the 2026 Damai Carstensz Operation, Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani, stated that markets are an important space for building direct communication with the community.
"Markets are where people gather and carry out their daily activities. The presence of personnel at Keyabi Market demonstrates our commitment to ensuring the public feels safe and strengthening relationships with the people. We want to demonstrate that economic activities in the Papua Highlands are running smoothly, safely, and conducively," said Faizal.
