inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Law Supratman Andi Agtas is now utilizing social media to directly address public complaints regarding public services within the Ministry of Law.
"Now, if you look at my cellphone usage hours, I spend more time serving the public via social media than communicating via WhatsApp," said Andi on Monday (5/25/2026).
According to him, technological advances have enabled various public complaints and issues to be received and addressed more quickly.
He views social media as not only a means of communication but also a public service space that can be utilized directly by the public.
Andi explained that social media has become an effective communication channel because it makes it easier for him to forward various public issues to all relevant work units.
"Today's communication media is a technological advancement that makes it much easier for us to interact," he said.
In addition to highlighting the importance of responsive public services, the Minister of Law also encouraged all state civil servants (ASN) within the Ministry of Law to continuously improve their personal qualities and work competencies.
According to Andi, career paths within the ministry are now increasingly open to employees with integrity and initiative. The Minister of Law hopes that all civil servants (ASN) aspire to reach the highest positions in their careers as civil servants.
