Maluku Regional Police to Facilitate the Medical Treatment of Child Abuse Victim in Ambon

inp.polri.go.id - Maluku. A child with the initials of NK, who suffered broken bones after being the victim of abuse has been referred to Military Hospital in Tual. Maluku Regional Police assure that they will facilitate the medical treatment of the kid.

The Head of Maluku Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Rositah Umasugi reveals that the victim and parents will arrive in Ambon today. They will then be immediately referred to the referred hospital.

"When he arrived in Ambon, our hospital didn't have the facilities to treat broken bones, so he was referred to the military hospital, which had the facilities. However, there, he was picked up directly by the Head of Medical and Health Services, who will provide care during his stay at the military hospital," said Rositah, Monday (2/23/2026).

She stated that Maluku Regional Police Chief Inspector General Dadang Hartanto will also visit the victim at the hospital.

"And the plan is for the Regional Police Chief to also visit the victim and his parents," said Rositah.
