Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. State-owned energy distribution company PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has assured the public that fuel distribution across East Java, Bali, West and East Nusa Tenggara remains secure despite the escalating conflict in the Middle East.
“We urge the public to remain calm and purchase fuel only as needed without panic buying,” said Ahad Rahedi, the Communications Manager for Pertamina Patra Niaga for tor East Java, Bali, West and East Nusa Tenggara on Thursday (5/3/2026), confirming that current stock levels are maintained at a 13-day reserve, reinforced by a strictly scheduled supply chain to prevent any regional shortages.
To mitigate global supply chain risks, the state-owned enterprise is implementing "Regular, Alternative, and Emergency" (RAE) distribution methods. Monitoring of global oil dynamics is being conducted in real-time to adjust domestic logistics if necessary.
In addition, a dedicated Ramadan and Eid task force will be activated on 9 March 2026, to oversee infrastructure readiness and ensure smooth energy delivery for millions of homebound travelers during the upcoming national holiday season.
