inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Narcotics Criminal Investigation Directorate has arrested a suspect in the investigation into the drug dealer Erwin Iskandar, also known as Ko Erwin. The suspect is Muhammad Jainun.

"The suspect was arrested in Lubuk Pakam, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, on Friday (2/17/2026) at 9:00 PM," said Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, Director of Narcotics Criminal Investigation Directorate of INP, on Friday (4/24/2026).

Brigadier General Eko explained that the suspect was arrested after the investigation team conducted an analysis and discovered one of the accounts suspected to contain funds from sales transactions in the name of Muhammad Jainun. 

During the arrest, the suspect admitted to having been contacted by someone with the initials HB, someone from Malaysia, to set up an account, mobile banking, and a token, which would then be transferred to Malaysia.

Based on an analysis of bank statements from December 2018 to January 2026, the account recorded a turnover of approximately IDR 211.2 billion, with total incoming and outgoing funds of approximately IDR 105.6 billion each. Meanwhile, from 2021 to 2025, the number of transactions reached up to IDR 3 billion per month.

"Entering the end of 2025, there was a significant increase in inflows. Several large-value transactions began to emerge, with each transaction reaching billions of rupiah. One account recorded transactions totaling over IDR 8 billion, and many others in the range of IDR 3 billion to IDR 6 billion," said Eko.
