inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Patrol Team from the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police arrested four men suspected of selling the hard drug Tramadol in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.
Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police Samapta Director, Senior Superintendent Wahyu Dwi Ariwibowo, explained that the action was carried out during a routine patrol on Sunday evening (2/22/2026).
The patrol involved 37 joint personnel from the 3P Patrol Team, the Monitoring Patrol, and female police officers led by First Inspector Dedy Suhendro and First Inspector Abdul Kadzim.
"While combing Jalan Aipda Karel Satsuit Tubun, officers discovered suspicious transaction activity that indicated the sale of hard drugs without a permit," said Senior Commissioner Wahyu on Monday (February 23rd, 2026).
During the patrol, four men identified as S, I, MA, and WS were arrested along with evidence in the form of 15 strips of Tramadol, a cell phone, and two wallets suspected of being connected to the transaction. The suspects were then handed over to the Tanah Abang Sub-regional Metropolitan Police for further processing.
The patrol unit will continue to be deployed to suppress the distribution of hard drugs within the jurisdiction of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police.
"The presence of officers in the field is a preventative measure and law enforcement to ensure public order and security remains conducive," said Wahyu.
