"The owner of this item is a man identified as GNS, who is still at large," said Head of the Tanjung Priok Port Sub-regional Police Narcotics Criminal Investigation Unit, Police Senior Inspector Trendy Habibie, in Jakarta on Monday (4/27/2026).

He said the man identified as GNS ordered SM (30) to deliver the illicit goods. Officers are currently investigating the case, including questioning SM (30), the courier, to uncover the network behind the suspect.

"We are also conducting further investigations to apprehend GSN, who is still at large," he said.

According to him, the distribution of methamphetamine in the Warakas area of ​​North Jakarta had been ongoing from March to April 2026. Officers conducted an investigation and successfully arrested the perpetrator, SM, who was about to conduct a transaction in the Sunter Mall area of ​​North Jakarta on Sunday (4/26/2026).

Previously, the Tanjung Priok Port Sub-regional Police arrested a man with the initials SM (30), who was working as a courier and was carrying one kilogram of methamphetamine hidden under his motorcycle in North Jakarta.

He said the case was uncovered based on information from the public regarding drug distribution in the Warakas area. 

"Officers then conducted an investigation and developed the case until they identified the perpetrator," he said.
