inp.polri.go.id - Bandung. The West Java Regional Police are raising the possibility of other victims of assault and kidnapping by Taufik Hidayat (30) after his beatings against his girlfriend, YTR (29), for three years in Bandung Regency.
West Java Regional Police Public Relations Chief, Senior Superintendent Hendra Rochmawan, stated that police are monitoring several social media posts from those claiming to have been victims of the suspect.
"We received social media posts from those claiming to be victims. We are opening the door for anyone who feels they have been a victim to report it," Hendra said, Bandung, Wednesday (6/24/2026).
However, investigators have not yet received an official report regarding the alleged other victims in the case.
Hendra said that anyone with information or who believes they have been victims can report it to the police directly or by calling 110.
Investigators are still investigating the motive behind the alleged kidnapping and kidnapping of YTR.
According to Hendra, investigators have not yet been able to conclude the suspect's motive because the examination and evidence collection are still ongoing.
"Investigators are still gathering evidence and witness statements to fully uncover the series of crimes allegedly committed by the suspect," he said.
The police ensured that the case is being handled professionally. Progress on the investigation will be announced to the public once all the facts have been verified.
