inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Regional Metro Police and the Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police provided psychological support and medical examinations to three victims of alleged kidnapping found in Central Jakarta.

"The goal is to ensure that these victims are in good health, both physically and psychologically," said the Head of the Psychology Division of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police's Human Resources Bureau, Superintendent Ida Bagus Gede Adi Putra Y, Friday (7/3/2026).

He said this step was crucial so that the victims could properly undergo all stages of the ongoing legal process.

The support and medical examinations took place at the Legal Aid Institute (LBH) Office, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (7/2/2026). The team involved the Psychology Team from the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police's Human Resources Bureau, the Medical Team, the Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metropolitan Police, and the victims' legal counsel.

According to Ida, the joint team has conducted an initial assessment of the three victims. The results of the examination will be used as a reference for the next steps in support, according to the victim's needs.

​He also ensured that they would continue to build intensive coordination with the investigative team and legal counsel throughout the legal process.

​"Later, of course, we will coordinate with our fellow investigators to determine what is needed. Everything is in progress to assist the investigation and other processes to shed more light on this case," said Ida.

​Although the victims are currently considered cooperative and have successfully completed the initial assessment, he stated that their psychological condition still requires in-depth evaluation and monitoring.

​The police is committed to continuing to facilitate and provide health services and continued psychological support during the victims' recovery period.

​"The main thing is that the victims return to health, both physically and mentally," emphasized Ida.
