inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police received a report filed by a patient and shareholder after being the victim of medical malpractice at a hospital with the initials "S" in the Jakarta area. 

The report is registered under number STTLP/B/3271/V/2026/POLDA METRO JAYA.

"Yes, we received the report on Wednesday, May 6, 2026," explained the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto, on Tuesday (5/12/2026).

Budi explained that the report was filed by Y through her attorney. The report relates to alleged criminal acts in the health sector as referred to in Article 440 paragraph (1) of Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health in conjunction with Article 474 paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code.

"The report originated from the patient who felt the medical treatment she received was not in accordance with medical indications," he said.

He said that investigators are currently reviewing the report. Meanwhile, the reported party is still under investigation.
