inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Three Nigerian foreign nationals were found dead and unconscious in an apartment unit in Cengkareng, West Jakarta. Two of them were dead, and the other was found unconscious.

The bodies were found at the 3rd floor of the City Park Tower F Apartment in East Cengkareng, West Jakarta, on Monday (6/1/2026) at around 9:00 PM. The surviving victim was then evacuated and rushed to the Buddha Tzu Chi Hospital for medical treatment.

Head of Public Relations for the Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police, Senior Superintendent Budi Hermanto, confirmed the discovery.

"Yes, on Monday, June 1, 2026, at around 9:00 PM, three foreign nationals were found on the 3rd floor of the City Park Tower F Apartment in East Cengkareng, West Jakarta," explained Budi when confirmed on Thursday (6/4/2026).

According to him, the two deceased victims were identified as CD (27) and II (34). The survivor was identified as OSO (39).

"Of the three people, two men were declared dead. Another person was found unconscious and is currently receiving treatment at the Buddhist Tzu Chi Hospital," he said.

Police are still investigating the exact cause of death of the two victims. Initial examinations revealed no signs of violence on the bodies.

"Based on the initial examination, no signs of violence were found on the bodies of the two deceased victims. However, the investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the incident," he said.

The West Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police are currently conducting a series of investigations and awaiting further test results to determine the cause of the two Nigerian citizens' deaths inside the apartment.
