inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Investigators from the Indonesian National Police (INP)'s Criminal Investigation Unit have uncovered a drug trafficking case in Delona Vista, Denpasar, Bali. The drug trafficking operation at this location exploited nightlife venues as a distribution channel to patrons.
The Director of Narcotics Crimes Unit at the National Police's Criminal Investigation Unit, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, explained that the arrest at Delona Vista resulted in the arrest of seven suspects: I Nyoman Wiryawan, Dini Novianti, Ulfa Delivia Avega, Dwi Mega Pratiwi, Maherani Indrasuari, Edi Hermawan, and Putu Artawan.
The arrests resulted in the confiscation of 29 ecstasy pills; 0.8 grams of methamphetamine; IDR 47,163,000 and AUD 100 in cash; a savings book; and eight cell phones.
"In terms of their roles, suspect INW acted as pharmacist; DN as waiter; UDA, DMP, and MI as cashiers; EH as operational manager; and PA as General Manager," explained Eko in a written statement on Monday (4/6/2026).
Based on the facts obtained from the investigation, he said, information was obtained that the distribution of ecstasy at Club Delona Vista Bali was carried out neatly. From the results of the investigation, it was revealed that management within the operational structure of the establishment was aware of the drug trafficking activity.
"According to Putu Artawan, the Delona Vista nightclub has been operating since 2021 and began selling ecstasy in 2023," said Brigadier General Eko.
Delona Vista, he explained, is owned by a man named Jery, who was aware of the drug trafficking since 2023. However, it is not yet known how much profit Jery made from this drug trafficking.
