inp.polri.go.id - Kupang. The East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police are urging the public to report any crimes related to violence against women and children, domestic violence (KDRT), and human trafficking (TPPO). 

This appeal is part of the NTT Regional Police's commitment to improving protection for vulnerable groups and strengthening the community's role in assisting law enforcement in NTT.

NTT Regional Police Chief Inspector General Rudi Darmoko, emphasized that protecting women and children is a top priority in law enforcement in the region. 

He stated that various forms of violence against women and children require serious attention and swift action from law enforcement.

The Head of Public Relations of the NTT Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Henry Novika Chandra, stated that the police are opening up opportunities for the public to report any crimes occurring in their communities, particularly those involving violence against women and children. 

"The NTT Regional Police Chief emphasized that the protection of women and children is a priority in law enforcement. Therefore, the public should not hesitate or be afraid to report if they know about or directly experience cases of violence against women and children, domestic violence, or suspected human trafficking," said Henry on Saturday (3/7/2026).

He added that cases related to human trafficking within the NTT Regional Police jurisdiction are handled specifically by directorates with expertise in these areas. 

With the active support of the community, it is hoped that efforts to prevent and eradicate violence against women and children can be more effective and create a safe environment in East Nusa Tenggara.
