Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated 1,177 young officers from the Indonesian Military (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (INP) during the 2026 Officer Inauguration Ceremony (Prasetya Perwira) at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Wednesday (22/7/2026).

During his presidential address, he emphasized that graduation marks the beginning of lifelong service to the nation and its people. 

"Today is not merely a ceremony, nor is it the finish line. Today is the start of your service to the nation and the state," President Prabowo said. "You have sworn an oath to give your mind, body, and if necessary, your life for the Indonesian people."

The President reminded the newly commissioned officers that their primary allegiance must remain pledged to the 1945 Constitution, the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), and the public. 

"From this day forward, you belong to the nation and the state. You are the next generation tasked with carrying the heavy responsibility of defending the country," he added.

As part of the ceremony, President Prabowo personally pinned rank insignia on four recipients of the prestigious Adhi Makayasa award, representing the top graduates from each military and police academy.
