Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya announced on Thursday (2/4/2026) that President Prabowo Subianto’s state visits to Japan and South Korea resulted in concrete business agreements valued at approximately Rp 575 trillion.
"The total investment commitments reached USD 33.89 billion, with Japan contributing USD 23.63 billion and South Korea providing USD 10.26 billion," said he said, as cited by antaranews.com,
The agreements focus on strategic national sectors, including industrial downstreaming, energy security, and infrastructure development.
According to the Cabinet Secretary, the high figure reflects global investor confidence in Indonesia’s current economic trajectory. President Prabowo’s direct engagement and rapid response to private sector feedback were cited as the primary catalysts for finalizing these multi-billion dollar deals. The government pledged to monitor the realization of these commitments to ensure they translate into national economic growth and job creation.
