inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A joint Indonesian National Police (INP) team successfully arrested an Indonesian citizen (WNI) with the initials LCS, who was on Interpol's international wanted list (Red Notice). The arrest took place at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport on Sunday (5/3/2026).

LCS is known to be on the Wanted Persons List (DPO) of INP Cyber Crime Directorate (Dittipidsiber). He was previously named a suspect in a transnational online fraud case involving an international network operating in Cambodia.

This case has generated at least 23 Police Reports (LP) from various regions in Indonesia. All of these reports have now been withdrawn and are being handled centrally by the INP Cyber Crime Directorate to facilitate the investigation and filing process.

Based on the investigation, LCS is suspected of acting as an operator in carrying out online fraud using a platform called "abbishopee."

Previously, the police also arrested three other suspects connected to the LCS network. The three have been prosecuted and received a verdict from the South Jakarta District Court.

The Director of INP Cyber Crime Directorate Brigadier General Himawan Bayu Aji, emphasized that this arrest is part of their commitment to eradicating transnational cybercrime.

"The arrest of suspect LCS is the result of cross-border cooperation and coordination and demonstrates our seriousness in prosecuting perpetrators of cybercrime, particularly online fraud that harms the wider public," Himawan said in a statement in Jakarta on Monday (May 4, 2026).

He also added that INP will continue to investigate this case to uncover a broader network.

"We will continue to investigate to uncover the international network involved and trace the flow of funds from the crime to recover the victims' losses," he continued.

Suspect LCS has been detained and is undergoing further questioning at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency.
