The Riau Islands Regional Police concluded the 2026 Riau Islands Regional Police Chief (Kapolda) Cup Mobile Legends tournament at the Lancang Kuning Building on Sunday (12/7/2026), marking the road to the upcoming Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief (Kapolri) Cup Esports National Championship.

The closing ceremony was attended by the Esports Kapolri Cup 2026 Deputy Chairman Brigadier General Ahmad Yusep Gunawan and Riau Islands Police Human Resources Director Senior Superintendent Dr. Yimmy Kurniawan, representing Riau Islands Police Chief Inspector General Asep Safrudin. The event brought together 15 teams from various regency police ranks.

"This tournament embodies the INPe's commitment to supporting youth potential through positive, creative, and prestigious activities,"Chief Ahmad Yusep said, highlighting esports as an opportunity to foster discipline and sportsmanship.

Team OFON SIXSEVENNN from the Tanjungpinang City Police won first place, earning the right to represent the province at the national grand finals at the INP Headquarters.
