Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. The Soekarno-Hatta Airport Sub-regional Police have uncovered a criminal syndicate responsible for the theft of 108 Lululemon export bags belonging to PT Pungkook Indonesia One.

The suspects, identified as K, A, and F, were arrested in Karawaci, Tangerang, following a report from Central Java’s Grobogan-based PT Pungkook Indonesia One regarding missing cargo intended for Shanghai, China.

"The investigation began after a customer in Shanghai notified the company that 108 bags were missing from the shipment," said Seokarno-Hatta Airport Airport Police Chief Senior Superintendent Wisnu Wardana on Thursday (14/5/2026), as cited by antaranews.com.

The syndicate, which had been operating for two years, caused total losses estimated at over Rp1 billion. In the most recent incident alone, the loss was valued at Rp213 million.

CCTV footage revealed that 40 cartons containing 108 bags, which were parts of a total of 4.749 bags for export, were intentionally set aside during the X-ray screening process at the cargo warehouse. The mastermind, identified as R, worked as an export operations staff member at the airport, while suspect A assisted in the theft and suspect F manipulated the screening flow.

The stolen goods were reportedly sold to a fence for just Rp 300,000 per bag. The suspects now face up to nine years in prison under Article 477 of the Criminal Code.
