Inp.polri.go.id - Palembang. South Sumatra Regional Police Chief Inspector General Sandi Nugroho closed the 2026 Regional Police Chief (Kapolda_ Cup Shooting Championship by presenting trophies to the winners in Palembang on Wednesday (15/7/2026).

"Winning on the shooting range reflects peace of mind, sharp focus, and emotional control. Use today's precision as motivation to serve the public accurately, quickly, and selflessly," stated Inspector General Sandi Nugroho.

The high-level category saw the Head of the Planning Bureau claim first place, followed by the Head of the Legal Affairs Bureau and the Head of the Finance Bureau .

South Sumatra Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Nandang Mu’min Wijaya said that the tournament, marking the 80th Bhayangkara Day, transcended mere marksmanship. The event was designed to strengthen discipline and high-level focus, reinforcing the internal solidarity of the police force to better respond to operational field dynamics and ensure public safety across the province.
