Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Supreme Court has granted singer Agnes Monica Muljoto, better known as Agnez Mo, her appeal in a copyright dispute with musician Arie Sapta Hernawan, or Ari Bias, over the song “Bilang Saja.”

The ruling was issued on 11 Augusta 2025 by a panel of justices chaired by Justice I Gusti Agung Sumanatha with members Panji Widagdo and Rahmi Mulyati, as reported by antaranews.com on Thursday (14/8/2025).

The decision overturned a Central Jakarta Commercial Court ruling from 30 January 2025, which found Agnez Mo guilty of copyright infringement for performing the song at three concerts in May 2023 without permission, and ordered her to pay Rp 1.5 billion in damages.

With the Supreme Court’s verdict, the lower court’s ruling is nullified, and Agnez Mo is no longer required to pay the fine.
