The father of the murder victim in Cilegon, Maman Suherman, also known as a member of PKS political party, expressed his respect and gratitude to the police for successfully solving the murder of his son. Maman expressed his appreciation on a national television program on Monday (1/5/2026). 

He assessed that the police had worked tirelessly, without regard for time, for more than two weeks to hunt down and apprehend the alleged perpetrator.

Maman emphasized his confidence in the suspect's arrest following scientific evidence from the Forensic Laboratory Center, which showed a match between the perpetrator's DNA and the sharp weapon evidence.

Based on this, the family hopes the legal process will be firm and fair, and that the perpetrator will be given the maximum sentence for what is considered an extremely cruel and inhumane act.

It was previously reported that the victim, identified as MAMH, died as a result of murder allegedly committed by Heru Anggara. The suspect was apprehended by authorities on Friday, January 2, 2026, after nearly three weeks on the run. The preliminary motive points to economic pressure and debt from crypto investment activities.
