Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesian Military (TNI) Commander General Agus Subiyanto officially inaugurated several high-ranking officers into strategic positions on Thursday (26/3/2026), including the new Commander of the Joint Regional Defense Command III and the TNI Territorial Chief of Staff.
The leadership transition within these strategic commands is essential for maintaining operational readiness and organizational validation, the TNI said in a statement as reported by antaranews.com.
In the high-profile reshuffle, Lieutenant General Lucky Avianto was sworn in as the Commander of the Regional III, succeeding Lieutenant General Bambang Trisnohadi, who has been reassigned as the TNI Territorial Chief of Staff (Kaster).
In addition, Lieutenant General Deddy Suryadi officially assumed the role of Commander of the Jakarta Military Command following a recent organizational validation. The ceremony saw a total of 57 high-ranking officers promoted or reassigned, consisting of 47 from the Army, 9 from the Navy, and 1 from the Air Force. These appointments are part of a broader effort to strengthen the military's legal, territorial, and regional defense structures amid shifting security dynamics.
