Inp.polri.go.id - Bekasi. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps has announced that approximately 25 percent of the total projected vehicle volume has departed from Jakarta as of Sunday (15/3/2026), the third day of Operation Ketupat 2026.
"Currently, about 25 percent of vehicles have left the capital via toll roads, heading toward Trans-Java, Bandung, and Sumatra," said Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, the Head of the Traffic Corps, at the Kilometer 29 Command Center in Bekasi.
Traffic flow across major routes remained largely controlled through Sunday afternoon with no significant congestion reported.
Addressing localized delays at Gilimanuk Port in Bali, Inspector Chief Agus noted that the Traffic is coordinating with the Ministry of Transportation to deploy additional vessels. This surge in Bali is attributed to travelers moving ahead of the overlapping schedules of Eid al-Fitr and the Day of Silence holiday.
With 161,243 personnel deployed across 2,746 service posts, the police emphasized their commitment to ensuring that travelers remain safe from their point of departure until they reunite with their families.
