inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Narcotics Crime Investigation Directorate has uncovered the circulation of crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, and etomidate in large packages worth hundreds of millions of rupiah.
This case was uncovered due to the vigilance of online motorcycle taxi drivers who reported the drugs directly to officers on duty at INP Headquarters.
"We received a report from a member of the public who works as an online motorcycle taxi driver and approached the security guard following his suspicion of the package he about to deliver," explained Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, Director of Narcotics Crime Investigation Directorate, on Friday (4/17/2026).
Following the report, a joint team of Narcotics Crime Investigation Directorate and NIC Task Force deployed undercover personnel.
"The package was to be delivered to Cavalio Lake, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta," he said.
Upon arriving in Cavalio Lake, the police team communicated with the sender of the package, who stated that a relative would pick it up. When they were about to pick up the package, another online motorcycle taxi driver arrived, claiming to have received an order to deliver it to the Brahma Hotel on Jl. Utan Kayu 14A, Matraman District, East Jakarta.
Then, at the hotel, the package was picked up by another witness. The suspect admitted to being ordered by Ananda Wiratama, who turned out to be the owner of the drugs and is now a suspect.
"According to suspect Ananda Wiratama's statement, he had made 37 deliveries on the orders of Fredry Dona in Jakarta," said Brigadier General Eko.
The package contained 13 vape cartridges containing etomidate liquid and one clear package containing crystal methamphetamine.
Investigators recovered 163.03 grams of methamphetamine, 60.44 grams of marijuana, and 21 vape cartridges suspected of containing etomidate from suspect Ananda.
"The converted value is estimated at Rp410,781,120," he explained.
