Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta The Menteng Police office issued health advisories during Car Free Day (CFD) events around Bundaran Hotel Indonesia (HI) roundabout in Central Jakarta on Sunday (6/9/2026), following thin volcanic ashfall reaching the capital.

Police officers deployed loudspeakers from the Thamrin police post starting at 8.10 am to urge joggers and visitors to wear protective face masks during outdoor activities.

Despite light volcanic ash lingering in the air and causing minor eye irritation, weekend physical activities at Bundaran HI roundabout continued with partial mask compliance among residents.

Police urged outdoor participants to exercise increased vigilance and maintain facial protection while thin volcanic ash particles remain present in the urban atmosphere.
