The severe gales at 5.58 am forced the rapid evacuation of dozens of inpatient wards into temporary outdoor emergency tents to protect against structural cracks and aftershocks.

During the site inspection, police and local authorities provided emergency BPJS healthcare coverage to uninsured quake victims needing immediate medical treatment, including Daniel Paju, a resident from Pacar District who sustained injuries.

"The government and police are fully present for our citizens," Chief Christian said. "In critical times like this, no victim should experience delayed treatment due to administrative or financial constraints. Emergency services must remain responsive and humane."

Joint military, police, and medical officers set up three emergency tents equipped with field beds and first-aid supplies from the West Manggarai Police Medical Unit. Meanwhile, police units initiated field surveys and dialogic patrols to verify real-time damage across coastal and rural areas.
