“This operation involves 1,500 personnel from various units,” Central Jakarta Police Chief Senior Superintendent Susatyo Purnomo Condro said, as quoted by antaranews.com. 

The joint force includes officers from the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police, Jakarta Military Command the the Jakarta administration.

Chief Susatyo explained that the security strategy prioritizes preemptive and preventive measures to maintain public safety and order. Traffic management around the stadium will be implemented as needed, with motorists advised to use alternate routes to avoid congestion.

“No personnel will carry firearms. All security staff are instructed to act professionally and with compassion,” he added.

The celebration ran from 5 pm to 11 pm local time. Chief Susatyo urged attendees to participate respectfully, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a peaceful atmosphere without provocative behavior.
