inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Directorate General of Air Transportation (Ditjen Hubud) of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) stated that as many as 404 aircraft fleets are ready to operate to support the smooth flow of homecoming and return transportation for Eid 2025.

Acting Director General of Air Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation Lukman F. Laisa said that his party predicted an increase in aircraft passengers during the Eid homecoming season in 2025 by 12 percent with a total of 6,186,298 passengers compared to the previous year which was recorded at 5,529,659 passengers.

“We assure that our airplane armada for the 2025 Homecoming season is sufficient where we estimated that we would need around 325 aircrafts for this year’s homecoming season. On the other hand, we have already prepared 404 aircrafts ready to serve,” says Lukman on Wednesday (3/19/2025).

With this, Lukman is confident that the regular flight service can accommodate the surge of passenger numbers optimally.

To ensure the smooth flow of homecoming and return traffic, collaboration across Ministries and Institutions is needed so that the public is well served.

He explained that his party had instructed the Heads of Airport Authority Offices for Regions I to X, flight navigation organizers, Air Transportation Business Entities and airport organizers to be able to work optimally according to their respective duties.

"In ensuring that all aspects of safety, security, comfort and compliance with applicable regulations are met, we are working together with various parties to make the 2025 Eid Transportation a success," said Acting Director General Lukman.
