inp.polri.go.id. - Bandung. West Java Regional Police are committed to building collaboration with various parties for the success of Covid-19 Vaccination program in West Java. The commitment was conveyed directly by Chief of West Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Ahmad Dofiri, while monitoring mass vaccination held by Persis Pajagala Islamic Boarding School, Bandung City, Wednesday (08/11/2021).
According to Dofiri, to achieve herd immunity in West Java, at least 70 percent of total population in West Java, which reaches 50 million people, must be vaccinated.
"So, in West Java 37 million people have to be injected. Therefore, now and then we will carry out vaccination," Dofiri said in his commitment.
Dofiri further said his party collaborated with Persis, one of Islamic organization that has many followers spread across West Java.
"Then, we have Islamic boarding schools spread across West Java. Therefore, we are collaborating to make vaccination successful in West Java," he said.
Dofiri added 2,500 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were given in mass vaccination at Persis Islamic Boarding School.
Apart from Persis Islamic Boarding School, mass vaccinations were also held at Center for Islamic Da'wah (Pusdai) in Bandung City with 1,200 doses of vaccine prepared.
