Head of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Daniel Tahi Monang appoints Superintendent Rahmat Muchamad Salihin as the Acting Chief of Ngada Sub-regional Police. The appointment was a follow up to the deactivation of Senior Superintendent Fajar Widyadharma Lukman Sumaatmaja.

Rahmat is known to have previously served as Head of Sub-Directorate II of the NTT Regional Police Criminal Investigation Directorate.

“I have appointed the acting chief,” says Daniel when confirmed on Friday (3/7/2025).

It is known that this appointment is a follow-up to the ongoing examination process by the Police Profession and Security Division to Fajar. 

This examination is a real manifestation and commitment of the police to take action against members who violate the rules. As previously stated by the Chief of the Indonesian National Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, he noted that members are subject to rewards and punishments.
