inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Director General of Human Rights Services and Compliance of the Ministry of Human Rights Munafrizal Manan stated that his institution is following up on allegations of exploitation in online motorcycle taxi (ojol) work.
"We from the Ministry of Human Rights will follow up on the submission of this complaint," said Munafrizal after an audience with the National Ojol Coalition at the Ministry of Human Rights Building, Jakarta, Thursday (5/22/2025).
He further said that the Ministry of Human Rights will investigate the working conditions, especially regarding whether or not there is justice in the relationship between online motorcycle taxi drivers and the application.
"We will also investigate whether they were given the appropriate attention in carrying out their work as ojol. For example their safety as drivers who drive vehicles, including their guarantees as the party working," he said.
Meanwhile, Secretary General of the National Ojol Coalition Juwel Safrico expressed his appreciation to the Ministry of Human Rights, and hoped that their complaints could be followed up.
"Of course we have great hopes that what we have said to the Ministry of Human Rights can be followed up," said Juwel at the Ministry of Human Rights Building, Jakarta, Thursday, after attending the audience.
