Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo together with the Indonesian National Military (TNI) Commander General Agus Subianto accompanied President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka to attend the Muslimat Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) in Surabaya, East Java. The event was also attended by ministers from the Red and White Cabinet.

Head of Public Relations of the East Java Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Dirmanto said that the joint force of TNI-INP are also tasked to secure this event with 2,668 personnel deployed.

"TNI have deployed 1,766 of their personnel, while INP have sent their 764 personnel. We are also supported by the regional government with 134 personnel deployed," said Dirmanto on Monday (2/10/2025).

On the other hand, the Director of Traffic of the East Java Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Komaruddin, stated that no traffic engineering was implemented in the area.

"Traffic flow is normal, only the road in front of East Java EXPO is used for parking as there are quite a lot of participants between 6,000 to 10,000," said Komaruddin.
