Inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. Indonesian National Police (INP) Head of Public Relations Division Inspector General Sandi Nugroho said on Wednesday (7/5/2025) the importance of strengthening collaboration between the INP’s public relations division and the media, stakeholders, and communities to build a credible communication ecosystem.

““Police public relations must be at the forefront of safeguarding and strengthening public trust,” he said during the 2025 Public Relations Technical Coordination Meeting at the Police Academy in Semarang, Central Java.

Chief Sandi called for improved human resource capacity, effective use of digital technology, and rapid responses to strategic issues. He also highlighted the need to ensure that public messages are not only delivered but clearly understood.

The police are evaluating the effectiveness of official communication channels—Tribrata News, TV Polri, social media, and complaint portals—after surveys showed low public awareness. The PR division will enhance training at regional levels and expand digital monitoring.
