Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has opened its 2025 recruitment, prioritizing Hafiz Quran—those who have memorized the Quran—and Islamic boarding school (pesantren) graduates.

“Pesantren instill strong character, discipline, and ethical values, making their graduates well-suited for law enforcement,” said the INP Inspector General of Supervision, Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo, on Saturday (8/2/2025).

From 2021 to 2024, the INP recruited 265 pesantren graduates across different ranks. This year, opportunities will be expanded further.

The INP implements a merit-based, transparent selection process, aligned with ISO 9001:2015 standards. 

“We continuously refine recruitment to maintain integrity and quality,” Chief Dedi said.

The INP’s Human Resource Division upholds the principle of Clean, Transparent, Accountable, and Humanist (BETAH) while evaluating recruitment policies.

INP Chief Jenderal Listyo Sigit Prabowo has said that pesantren recruitment remains a priority, as these candidates bring discipline and adaptability crucial for policing.
