The Criminal Investigation Team of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation Unit of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Unit has begun an investigation into the alleged terror of pig heads and dead rats at the Tempo Media Office, Grogol, South Jakarta. This is a follow-up to the instruction from the Chief of Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, to thoroughly investigate the terror at the media office.

The Director of the General Criminal Investigation Unit, Brigadier General Djuhandani Rahardjo Puro said that the investigation team had checked the location of the incident of the delivery of pig heads and dead rats at the location of the incident.

"The team visited the Tempo Building to look into the police report by recording witnesses' statements who knew about the incident," explained Brigadier General Djuhandani through a written statement, Sunday (3/23/2025).

In addition, CCTV has been checked at the Tempo Building Security Post, including CCTV along the road allegedly used by the alleged perpetrators of the terror.

"The team has received the CCTV footage from the Tempo Building, Grogol, South Jakarta. Furthermore, the team is analyzing the video by prioritizing the search for one suspected perpetrator who has not been identified," he explained.

Djuhandani said that investigators are currently investigating the alleged criminal acts of threats of violence and/or obstructing journalistic work as referred to in Article 335 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 18 Paragraph (1) of Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 40 of 1999 concerning the Press.
