Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police held a security and public order assembly on Wednesday (15/10/2025), bringing together 26 community organizations across Jakarta to strengthen collaboration in maintaining peace and order.
“This is part of the Jaga Jakarta Program, the four pillars of safeguarding citizens, the environment, the rules, and our collective trust,” said Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri, who led the ceremony, as quoted by antaranews.com.
He emphasized that synergy between law enforcement and community groups is crucial to address the city’s complex social dynamics.
“Jakarta’s diversity is not a reason to divide us, but a strong foundation for mutual respect and cooperation,” Chief Asep said.
The event was attended by thousands of participants, reflecting the shared commitment between the police and community organizations to maintain security and foster harmony across Jakarta’s neighborhoods.
