Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police are investigating online sources allegedly accessed by a teenage suspect to assemble homemade bombs that exploded at SMA 72 high school last week.

“All online media, including websites accessed or followed by him, are under investigation,” said Metro Jaya Police Cyber Directorate Chief, Senior Superintendent Roberto GM Pasaribu, on Wednesday (12/11/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com. 

He confirmed that digital forensic analysis is ongoing after investigators recovered a laptop belonging to the suspect.

Authorities are coordinating with the Ministry of Communications and Digital Affairs to restrict or block the websites identified. The teen, who reportedly built seven explosive devices, detonated four at a mosque within the school compound, while three others were secured by the bomb squad.

Metro Jaya Police’s Mobile Brigade (Brimob) Commander, Senior Superintendent Henik Maryanto, said the blasts occurred inside the mosque and near a reading park  prompting deeper scrutiny of the suspect’s online activities and radical exposure.
