inp.polri.go.id - Medan. The North Sumatra Regional Police sent dozens of personnel under Operational Control (BKO) to handle the spread of Covid-19 and the Implementation of Level 4 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM), in Siantar City.
Before departing, the North Sumatra Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak, gave a procession to 76 personnel in the KS Tubun Field of the North Sumatra Regional Police. In his direction, the North Sumatra Regional Police Chief conveyed the function of carrying out the task of determining essential and non-essential workers so that the level of community mobility was reduced.
Regarding the implementation of road blocking, the personnel will be given direction from the Pematangsiantar Police.
"Do a good outreach to the community. Specifically, the policewomen convey their understanding to the people who are there very well," he said.
The North Sumatra Police Chief appealed to the personnel involved to check the completeness of those who will go to the Pematangsiantar Police Station, especially the personal protective equipment (PPE). "I also hope that colleagues can maintain good behavior because they will go down to villages to collect data on people who have been confirmed by Covid-19 and ensure that people are well isolated," he concluded.
It is known, the government has decided to extend the Implementation of Level 4 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) outside Java-Bali for two weeks starting August 10-23 2021 including Siantar City.
