Inp.polri.go.id - Kupang. The East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Police and the regional leaders (Forkopimda) conducted a large-scale patrol in Kupang on Tuesday (26/11/2024) to ensure security and preparation for the 2024 Regional Elections, set to take place on Wednesday.

The operation was attended by key figures, including Acting NTT Governor Dr. Andriko Noto Susanto and NTT Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Tahi Monang Silitonga. 

The patrol route covered strategic areas, such as Timor Raya Road, Tirosa Roundabout, and polling logistics checkpoints like the Oepura Urban Village Office, where ballot boxes were inspected.

“This large-scale patrol aims to ensure Kupang remains secure and peaceful as we approach election day. We also reviewed security preparations at key locations,” said NTT Police Head of Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Ariasandy.

He emphasized the commitment of NTT Police and Forkopimda to protect the elections. 

“Our team is fully prepared to ensure safety during the voting and counting stages,” he added.
