On Tuesday, the KKB attacked civilian officials from Pegubin Regency Office, injuring them. With the violence escalating, General Fakhiri emphasized the urgency of restoring and securing the region by deploying Brimob to Oksibil. He explained that the KKB faction claiming to be Kodap 35 Bintang Timur was previously active in nearby Kiwirok but extended its disruptive activities to Oksibil and surrounding areas after the situation improved in Kiwirok.
