inp.polri.go.id - Bandung. The West Java Regional Police revealed that dr. Priguna Anugerah Pratama raped his victims at Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) Bandung, using anesthetics from the hospital where he worked.

The Director of General Criminal Investigation of West Java Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Serawan revealed that based on the findings, he appealed to the hospital to conduct a strict evaluation of the supervision system and use of anesthetics.

"Yes ( it must be evaluated)," he said.

In addition, he also explained that based on the results of the psychological examination, the suspect was known to have a sexual disorder by having fantasies of having an intercourse with someone who is helpless.

However, he said that even though he had a psychological disorder, that did not eliminate the criminal element in this case.

In fact, the suspect's actions can be subject to aggravating articles as regulated in Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning Sexual Violence Crimes (TPKS).

"There is an aggravation of rape committed against a helpless person in the TPKS Law," he explained.

According to him, in Article 13 of the TPKS Law, a person who unlawfully places another person in a helpless condition to be sexually exploited can be punished for sexual slavery with a maximum prison sentence of 15 years.

With the completion of all the results of the investigation, the police stated that they were ready to submit the case files and the suspect to the West Java High Prosecutor's Office.
